Pura Lux Candle Burning Instructions
Crafted with care, prayer, and intention—please follow these guidelines to enjoy your candle safely and beautifully.
Trim with Purpose
Before each burn, trim your wick to ¼ inch (6mm). A clean wick invites a steady flame, minimizes soot, and ensures your candle glows with clarity—not smoke.
Set the First Burn
Allow your first burn to melt the wax evenly to the edges of the vessel. This establishes a full melt pool, prevents tunneling, and sets the stage for an even, long-lasting glow.
Mindful Burn Time
For best performance, burn your candle in sessions of 2–4 hours. Longer burns may overheat the vessel and diminish the purity of the flame.
Honor Safety
Place your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface, away from anything flammable.
Never leave a lit candle unattended or near children or pets.
Keep the wick centered and free of trimmings or debris.
If the flame grows too high or flickers wildly, extinguish the candle and let it rest before relighting.
Extinguish with Grace
Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame—never use water. Allow the wax to cool and solidify before handling.
